The Hizzy
Otherwise known as Shauni.
A chaotic gamer, based in south-west Scotland who is right at home in support.
Basically a wheelie bin of random knowledge and skills who loves to add a little extra good to the world.
About
"Elevator pitch":
I love organising, helping folk & finding solutions. I'm familiar with html/css, Photoshop and most communication programs (Slack, Discord, etc). Familiar with Twitch, Discord & Guilded moderation. Just for fun I also picked up sills in sewing, DIY & first aid. Solid knowledge and comfortable with using Google Workspace/Office Suite. Due to past volunteer work I'm experienced in community moderation and handling trolls. Though I'm chronically ill, it makes me really good at prioritising tasks and managing my time.
GRT raised in rural Scotland, I spent a few years in Edinburgh before returning to the countryside.
My time is usually filled by learning new skills or gaming (mainly Xbox, though also PC & Switch); though chances are high I'm also focused on some organisation.
Perhaps odd, but I actually enjoy organising and planning. This is reflected even in my gaming choices as I often opt for support (or support/damage) roles.
Due to vast changes in health since 2010, I've developed a solid ability to manage time and energy, though I'll admit I'm still working on not overloading myself to ensure others have a more manageable workload.
While not being someone who seeks out the spotlight, I pride myself on hyping up those around me to achieve their goals. I also have a keen interest in privacy and security in the digital age.
An avid baker, I've also picked up at least passable skills in the following: felt crafting, sewing, loom knitting, jewlery making, DIY, tech valet, minor video editing and basic html/css.
Others have said:
"a very wise person, you offer a lot of good perspective to things"
"a very warm person ... an absolute joy to know"
"damn, you're organised"
"a creepy lil hype goblin"

Showcase
Administrative wizard who is incredibly organised and enjoys planning. Extensive experience with Office suite and Google workspace, as well as most social media sites. Able to work well to deadlines and remain a calming figure under pressure.
Dabbled in graphics as a casual interest since mid-teens, but have been actively pursuing it as an improving skill for nearly 5 years now.
Writing has always been a passion of mine and I've had the great luck to be able to showcase that in digital spaces for 7 years, which includes 2 years as an editor for digital articles focusing on politics.
Moderating in online spaces for over 10 years. 5 years casually and another 5 years in structured volunteer positions.
I now have shops on Redbubble, Threadless & Ko-Fi as a hobby.
